The former US president has indicated that he will be arrested next Tuesday. He calls on his supporters “to take back the nation from him.”
Former president from 2016 to 2020 and a candidate for the 2024 elections, Donald Trump says he is being hunted by justice that, according to him, should arrest him on Tuesday.
It is on his social network Verdad Social that he indicated, this Saturday, to take this information from a “leak” of the prosecution of the New York State prosecutors.
And Trump to speak of himself in the third person: “The candidate of the Republican Party far ahead (his main rivals, editor’s note) and former president of the United States of America will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Protest, take back our nation!”
Implicated in several cases, Trump may not escape indictment in the coming days, notably by a grand jury over a 2016 payment to a porn star, Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford. Trump, then in the middle of the electoral campaign, is suspected of having bought her silence about an alleged relationship that she would have had with Donald Trump. She would have received a sum of $130,000.
