In Poland, the Health4Ukraine financial assistance program for the purchase of medicines is available to Ukrainian refugees who have crossed the border after 24 February.
This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories.
The main condition for joining the program is the presentation of a document confirming the provision of a Polish PESEL identification number. To request a queue, you must leave your email address on call and wait for a notification with instructions for registering.
“After reviewing the application, the participant will receive an individual barcode that will allow him to purchase medicines worth up to PLN 500. You can find out more about the conditions of participation in the program by calling the hotline: +48 42 612 09 96“, adds the message.
As a reminder, in Poland it was allowed to use Ukrainian driving licenses until December 31, 2023, even if their validity period has expired. They also wrote that Poland has renewed the rules for the return of Ukrainians.
It should be noted that Ukrainian refugees living in Poland get a job under a simplified procedure. As of early February this year, some 900,000 Ukrainian citizens were working in the neighboring country.
