A new election to choose Miss Narbona 2023

The election of Miss Narbonne has been taking place for more than fifteen years, an event organized by the Miss France committee. In 2023, the event will be held at the Carrefour shopping center on Saturday, March 25, starting at 6:00 p.m. “We already have fourteen registered candidates, says Marie-Charlotte Méré, from the Languedoc Rousillon regional delegation. It is still possible to register. Just go to the committee’s website: www.misslanguedoc.fr.” To do this, you must be at least 18 years old, measure at least 1.70 meters and be of French nationality.

As for the organization of the afternoon, the candidates will arrive at the shopping center at 2:00 p.m. to carry out the rehearsals prior to the official launch of the show. Three passages are planned in front of the public and the jury. There will be one in a bathing suit and two in evening wear.

Candidates will end with an oral interview. An often dreaded moment. “Girls who are less comfortable talk about twenty seconds, explains Marie-Charlotte Méré. It is a time that can be stressful for them. Others are more comfortable and last longer. They are asked to talk about their background, life, what they want to do later, etc.

Miss Narbonne, a commitment

Once chosen, the candidate will begin a lifetime of commitment. “You will often be asked to participate in events, says Marie-Charlotte Méré. This is an opportunity for her to get involved and promote herself a bit ahead of the upcoming elections. You should know that the last time a Miss Narbonne was elected Miss Languedoc was in 2013! Beyond that, it’s also an opportunity for her to discover new things.”

Four former Misses will also be present on Saturday, March 25. Chiara Fontaine, Miss Roussillon 2022, and Cameron Valliere, Miss Languedoc 2022. Both were finalists for Miss France 2023. Illana Barry, Miss Languedoc-Roussillon 2020, and Elodie Martinez, Miss Narbonne 2022 will also be present.
